Dear WPS Families,
It is with much pleasure and with great anticipation that I extend to each of you a very warm welcome for the 2012-2013 school year. I am tremendously excited to join the WPS community as Headmaster. Our faculty, staff, and administrators look forward to a wonderful working relationship with you throughout what promises to be another highly productive, exciting, and rewarding year.

A half or full day of exceptional pre-kindergarten curriculum!

LOWER SCHOOL

Dear Lower School Families,

*We are excited to start the school year and looking forward to seeing everyone at the Meet the Teacher event. Please note the time has been changed to 3:30 p.m.

HIGH SCHOOL

WPS High School Parents and Students:

As we approach August 16, the high school staff is making preparations to begin the 2012-13 school year. Much of our recent work has been focused on the development of the schedule of classes, finalization of the hiring of new faculty, and planning for the move of the high school into its new facility. This is a great time to be part of our high school. We are excited to see pieces falling into place that will allow us to provide our students with an excellent learning experience. MIDDLE SCHOOL

Dear Middle School Families,

The days of summer are winding down...sure hope you've enjoyed your time with family and friends! By now, you've had the chance to review several documents to prepare you for the upcoming year; please refer to these below.

We welcome our new families to Orientation on Monday, August 13 at 4:00. And, we'll see all students (returning and new) at our annual "Summer Social" where you'll receive your homeroom and locker assignment. Review the invite for details. Parents, during the social, you're invited to join the WPVA gathering in room 101.

Your teachers arrive next week to get ready for your arrival on the first day of school, Thursday, August 16. In the meantime, please call the middle school office or email if you have any questions, MaryBeth.Davies@windermereprep.com.
