Quick Way to Check Which Service Pack You Are Using

Service packs are updates to products to resolve a known issue or workaround and update systems to the most current code base. Being on the current code base is important because that's where Microsoft focuses on fixing problems. To check which Service Pack you are using, log into Dynamics GP, go to Help (question mark icon) >> About Microsoft Dynamics GP.

Management Reporter Training Class - New Date!

This two-day class is ideal for the accountant who has had little formal training in Management Reporter, the new real-time financial reporting application from Microsoft, but is interested in learning more about it. Discover the power and flexibility of reporting trees to present financial results at the responsibility level (i.e. by accounting segment or dimension and combinations thereof). Use report output and distribution options including Report Viewer. Topics to be covered include:

• Designing basic report building blocks in Report Designer with row definitions, column definitions, and reporting tree definitions.
• Associating the building blocks in a variety of report definitions including trial balance reports, income statements, variance reports, balance sheets and consolidation reports.
