@Santa Clara Convention Center
     (English interpretation service will be provided via head phone device.)
Greetings!

You are cordially invited by Double Portion Ministries
to listen to a speech given by Dr. Esther Lee.
Just like the queen with the same name depicted in the Bible, Esther is a brave woman who strives in the country she emigrated to, with passion for the people of her native nationality.

She was formerly a Deputy Director of the U.S. Department of Education and has been appointed to serve on more than 30 commissions, councils, and committees by the U.S. Congress, a President, a Texas governor and a Houston mayor on various social and educational issues in the past two decades.  As a Chinese immigrant, she is definitely a champion in US politics and education who desires to help the Chinese immigrants gain higher social regard in this country.

She is a respected heroine, as well as a lovely housewife. She enjoys playing piano in a recital, cleaning the house and doing gardening.  She can tap dance, pilot a plane and after a nice banquet blessed by her amazing cooking, she would within a few minutes, ta-dah, change to a professor in a business suit, ready to give a speech at an international conference.
Having gone through the devastation of divorce, she is now glowing in her second marriage.

Dr. Esther Lee is going to speak on the subject of  "Flourishing in the US" specifically for Chinese immigrants. We are not just surviving without purpose in this adopted country; we need to flourish with God's guidance.  economic conditions challenge us
to reflect
and re-assess our employ ability. We need to turn lemon
to lemonade.

During the speech, there also will be a live interview moderated
by a well-known TV program hostess in Taiwan, Chin Yu Lee

Date:          9/19 Sunday, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
