It's the middle of summer... have you taken your vacation yet? If not, remember our "Wear in the World?" Photo Contest. Take Fusion on a road trip or on vacation with you (local activities are fine too) and perhaps you can win a fabulous prize! (Details below.)
We have a couple of classes that are taking a summer vacation. Our MOM & BABY CLASSES with Rebekah (Wednesdays at 10:00) and our Wednesday Unwind Class with Evelyn are cancelled for the summer. Look for them to resume in the fall.
THIS WEEKEND ... "Intro to Yoga" workshop with Lori McCormick. Sunday from 10:00 am to noon. Perfect for those that are new to yoga but also for those who could use a refresher of the basics. Sign-up on-line. Price of workshop includes two weeks of unlimited classes too!
THIS MONTH we're hosting a K-9 KARMA FEST on Sunday, July 17... Includes a special yoga class, prizes, an Abundance Swap, silent auction, as well as food and beverages. There's another "feel good" opportunity next month too... Join us for a special Yoga Basics class (DOWN-DOG-A-THON) on Saturday, August 6. Proceeds benefit Scooter's Pals Rescue Group.
Other upcoming events include a Kirtan with SOUL'S JOURNEY (Aug 27) and BLAME SALLY is coming back November 19, which we're ultra excited about!
If you haven't checked them out yet, photos from the DOUG SWENSON workshop are posted on our website. Although it seems like a long time away, we're excited that he'll be here again in May.

SUZANNE MIKULA is out on maternity leave... her baby boy is due July 27! We anticipate Suzanne returning after some time off to take over the Saturday Yoga Basics classes at 5:00 pm. Until then, SILVIA VIARNES is filling in... come check out Silvia's class - we're sure you'll enjoy it!
Unfortunately MICHI ABDAY is going to be (eventually) moving out of state. As such, she's given up her Sunday morning class. We've loved having her as a part of our Fusion family and are sad to see her go. Nonetheless, we wish Michi all the best in the next chapter of her life! EVELYN HARLAN has taken over the Sunday 11:00 am class. We're sure you'll love her class too!

The evening includes group devotional singing of a very eclectic mix of spiritual songs from a variety of traditions along with dancin g 2-3 Dances of Universal Peace and/or Spirit-Play movement. It closes with a kiirtan chant and dance, followed by a group meditation. Our program is designed to deepen your understanding and practice of yoga, and may also be taken by those who are not necessarily intending to become yoga instructors. Many students pursue teacher training not because they want to teach, but because they love yoga and want to learn more. Teacher Training is a wonderful way to deepen your practice and take it to a new level. This course will build on whatever form of yoga you have been training or practiced in. Read More... "WEAR IN THE WORLD..?" Contest | |
"Wear In The World?" is our travel photo contest that anyone can be a part of. All it takes is a piece of Fusion logowear, a camera, and a sense of adventure! Get creative... with every photo you take, you'll have a chance to win free classes or more logowear!
So, where are you going this summer...? Are you taking a hiking trip or going camping... taking the kids to Disney... going to the lake, the mountains, the wine country, a sporting event, to a ranch, exploring California, or even traveling to some exotic land...? When you pack your camera, don't forget to pack your Fusion logowear (tee, hoodie, tank, book or sports bag). Then while out-and-about, strike a pose with your Fusion logowear, snap a photo, and forward it to us along with a description of where you're at. Creativity will score extra points (try Tree pose if you're game!), but be sure that the logo is visible in your photo. Photos will be posted on our website for everyone to see! Samples are below. (For each item sold, we'll be donating $1 to the SPCA.)
