So, although nothing is set in stone quite yet, we're hoping to bring you a backbend intensive... a yin workshop... some early morning classes... changes to the evening schedule...a buy/trade/show... a raw food cooking class... thai chi classes.... and more!  .... to be kept up-to-date on happenings at Fusion, for helpful information and interesting articles and such.
There's lots happening after the first of the year. We're offering a special 4-Week Series Heated Fusion Flow "Boot Camp" on Friday mornings in January for those of you who want to burn off a few holiday calories in a warmer environment during the winter chill!
Also, there will be an Teacher Training Informational Tea with Lori Moore on Sunday January 2, 2011 for those who might be curious about our program. (Our Teacher Training Program will begin February 4.) More info is provided on our website and below.

Our program is designed to deepen your understanding and practice of yoga, and may also be taken by those who are not necessarily intending to become yoga instructors. Many students pursue teacher training not because they want to teach, but because they love yoga and want to learn more. This informative class is now held once at month (usually the first Saturday of each month). Christie will explain the different elements of meditation. You'll learn what meditation is, how to meditate, and why meditation helps. You'll find that by focusing on the present moment, the mind naturally settles down resulting in a calm, peaceful state, allowing you to connect with your own inner stillness. Come join the Indian Classical Fusion group: The Nada Brahma Music Ensemble for an evening of Raga and Tala. Hear the mystical sounds of this ancient music from India. All of their music is 100% improvised and is manifested on a unique 25-string raga guitar with the traditional percussion of North India, the tabla. Witness their skill in rhythmic complexity (Tala) expressed in cycles of 4 ¾, 9 ¼, and 5 ½. The universal tranquility that emanates from the Raga (melody forms) will transport you to another world!
