Donate for Ice Cream and Help us Help Others
Welcome to July, the month of summer scorchers and valiant attempts to stay cool! From air conditioning to swimming pools and shade, we've decided that our favorite way to keep cool is to eat more ice cream! Read on to find out how you can keep cool and eat ice cream this summer all for a good cause!
Why is July the best month of the year?
Ritas
July is National Ice Cream Month! And even though Independence Day usually steals the show, we are asking you to take some time this month to celebrate the sweet taste of....Freedom...because few things are more American than ice cream. In honor of this momentous occasion, Impact Thrift is teaming up with everyone's hometown favorite, Rita's Water Ice, for some cool summer treats!

Here's how it works: Bring a merchandise donation to Impact Thrift during the week of July 5-10, mention you like ice cream, and we'll give you a Rita's coupon along with your tax-deductible receipt. It's our way of saying thanks for helping us help others! Click here for more information.
Impacting the Community
PAfreeEnterprise Did you know that as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Impact Thrift is exempt from paying property tax to the Borough of Hatboro? For the past four years, we have taken advantage of this exemption and then happily turned around and donated the dollar equivalent of the Borough property tax monies back to the Hatboro community. Each year, Impact Thrift has been able to award college scholarships to two Hatboro-Horsham high school students, offered financial support to the Union Library, the fire department, the police department, the local YMCA, and the Hatboro Parks & Recreation. We have also been able to annually sponsor two local high school students to participate in the Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week(PFEW).

PFEW is an intensive week of learning about the American free enterprise system. The program is for high schoolers who are motivated and eager to participate in an interactive learning experience. Student candidates must be recommended by a high school representative. Dates vary through the summer. If your high schooler is interested, please visit PFEW's website for additional information.
Compassion and Care for Those in Need...

healthlink Each donation and purchase you make at Impact helps support 17 local charities. One of our newest charities is Healthlink Medical Center. HealthLink is a nonprofit, free medical and dental clinic that serves working, uninsured adults who live in Bucks or Montgomery counties and earn within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.  Care is provided by over 70 volunteers including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, dentists and dental hygienists.  Over the last 10 years, HealthLink has become part of the fabric of the community, which supports it with volunteers and private donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations.

For more info about HealthLink, becoming a patient, volunteering, or supporting our upcoming golf tournament visit www.healthlinkmedical.org.

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."                                                             Matthew 28:18-20
