New Grant Supports Expanded Integration of HIV & Reproductive Health Care
HIV Awareness Ribbon
Greetings!

MCRH is pleased to announce a grant of $20,000 from the Mid South AIDS Fund to support Caminos Paralelos.

With the support of grant funding last year from the MAC AIDS Fund we initiated Parallel Paths, a project that integrates HIV and reproductive health services in Memphis.  This additional support from the Mid South AIDS Fund will enable us to address some specific needs of medical providers serving Latinas.

Our goals with these projects are to (1) facilitate stronger relationships between primary medical providers, reproductive health providers, and HIV/AIDS service providers; (2) reduce the stigma of women's HIV testing and treatment, and (3) promote interagency referrals in order to better meet the health care needs of HIV+ women.

We invite your questions, comments and feedback on this important new initiative.

And as always, thanks so much for your support.

The Memphis City Schools Board of Commisioners will consider a resolution next Monday to support a comprehensive strategy to reduce teen pregnancies community-wide.

MCRH applauds this kind of leadership from our public school system, and encourages the community to show their support by signing this petition today.
