National Women's Day of Action for Health Care Reform

Today, November 4, is National Women's Day of Action for Health Care Reform.  We're asking everyone who thinks a woman should be able to choose whether or not she has a baby to call Congress and demand health care reform that includes coverage for abortion.

Members of Congress need to hear from their constituents that meaningful health care reform, including comprehensive coverage to meet women's reproductive health care needs, is a priority.

Thank you for supporting women's right to choose.

Sincerely,

Rebecca L. Terrell

Between Teens
Girls Learn Importance of Making Responsible Choices
teens

Between Teens is MCRH's free educational program for teen girls. Participants learn about their developing bodies, and how making responsible choices now affects their future health.

The program also teaches young women how to navigate the health care system to receive the services they need for reproductive wellness.

Between Teens is different from many reproductive health education programs since it works with small groups, and all sessions are facilitated by a nurse practitioner. The program is being offered to participants free of charge thanks to a grant from Community Foundation of Greater Memphis.

For more information on Between Teens, or the Center's other education programs, please contact our Community Outreach Coordinator at 901-274-3550 ext. 16, or send an email to outreach@mcrh-tn.org.
