Greetings!
It's the Dog Days of Summer and things are heating up at the library. Come on in to check out some beach reading, or cool off at a program. Don't forget (both kids AND adults!) to participate in our Summer Reading Program for a chance to win great prizes. |
July Olympics Display
Our July display is getting us excited for the London Olympics, which run from July 27 through August 12. Catch up on some Olympic history, read a novel that takes place in London, or watch Chariots of Fire. One of the greatest things about the Olympics is the inspiration it provides. From archery to wrestling, it's amazing to watch top athletes from around the world perform so well their sport. In the spirit, maybe you'll be motivated to get out this month and have some fun or test your limits, whether it's running in a local race, trying a sport for the first time, or coaching a youth team. And don't forget to participate in our graph of which Olympic sports you participate in. Do we have any Amherst residents who do archery, fencing, or boxing? |
