Magician Peter BoieWednesday, July 11 @ 10:30 AM
Peter Boie, the self proclaimed Magician for Non-Believers will be performing here in the Children's Room on Wed., July 11 at 10:30am. Peter performs for a wide variety of audiences and venues, but he has a special place in his heart for libraries because he borrowed his first magic book from his local library when he was 11 years old. The show runs the gamut from audience members getting into the show and doing magic themselves, to award winning mind blowing magic, to side splitting comedy. So come out to the library and experience the show for yourself! No registration required. Recommended for kids ages 4 and up.

Archery in Motion meets the Ranger's Apprentice Thursday, July 12th @ 1 PM
For kids who will be entering 6th grade and up: Join the instructors from Archery-in-Motion and Miss Sarah from the library for an afternoon program mash-up introducing the wonderful world of archery and the exciting book series, The Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan.
We'll listen to some excerpts of archery-action from the books, and then get a chance to see, hear about, and get our hands on the real thing. Weather permitting, we may even get a chance to get outside and try to hit a target!
