The Friends of the Amherst Town Library are looking for local artists with photographs, paintings, and drawings of places in New Hampshire for the Amherst Town Library's April art exhibit. We are looking to complement the theme for April which is "Right Here in New Hampshire". Charles Mooradian to Exhibit Paintings
Charles Kirk Mooradian will be exhibiting his work at the Amherst Town Library during the month of March.
Charles was born and raised in Arlington, Massachusetts. He graduated from New England School Of Art where he studied watercolors with Don Stone. Charles pursued a career as a graphic designer and art director for the next 35 years designing graphics and illustrating all types of subjects for various advertising agencies and corporations. Now painting full time Charles uses gouache in a realistic technique, and watercolor in a more loose approach, getting much of his inspiration from the many vistas and wildlife New England has to offer. He takes photos and uses an extensive reference file for his subjects, while painting the final work in the more controlled surroundings of his studio. Currently, Charles resides with his wife Sandy in Nashua, New Hampshire where he also maintains his studio. |
