Blu-ray Responses
Thanks to all of you who replied to our Blu-ray survey! While the early responders were enthusiastic about a Blu-ray collection, the majority of responses came from people who do not own a Blu-ray player. Many were concerned that popular titles would only be available in Blu-ray, or that buying the same movie in both DVD and Blu-ray would be a waste. Others did not see the sense in spending money on a more expensive format that would reach less people.
It is always difficult to determine what to purchase when new technologies become available. Your feedback directly influences our decisions, and we appreciate those who responded.
For now, we are going to continue purchasing regular DVD's and hold off on starting a Bly-ray collection. For Blu-ray owners, we do have a few movies that came with both a Blu-ray and a DVD:
Incendies African Cats Nature: Bears of the Last Frontier
