The Student Art Show has been the highlight of every May in the Library for many years. For 2011 the teachers in our four schools selected the art that best represents the types of projects the students have been working on. The exhibit will be on display from May 8 - May 26.

A reception for the artists and their friends and families, and their teachers is planned for Sunday, May 8, from 2:00 - 4:00 at the Library. We hope to see you there!

patioGreetings!

As the days grow warmer, we invite you to spend the morning or afternoon in the library garden. Pick up a magazine or morning newspaper and enjoy it on the patio. Or bring you laptop and take advantage of the free wireless internet access.

The Amherst Town Library is embarking on a planning process to better use our facility, find efficiencies, and ultimately keep costs down. The end product of the process will be a library that better meets the needs of the community. Please contact Amy (673-2288) if you would like to participate in a focus group session on Monday, May 16 or Tuesday, May 17.
