Artistically Oriented Volunteer(s) Wanted
| |
Make a New Year's commitment to support your community library and have fun doing so. The Friends of the Amherst Town Library are looking for one or two people who love art to coordinate professional art exhibits to be displayed eight times a year at the library. You would have the opportunity to meet with artists and arrange for them to exhibit their work, coordinate their promos, and assist with hanging the art and occasional receptions for the artists. Estimated time commitment is about 5 - 10 hours per month/every six weeks. Any interested local residents are welcome to apply - you need not live in Amherst to take advantage of this opportunity! If interested, please contact Kim Ayers ( 249-9108).
