Door Contest
As part of Amherst's 250th anniversary celebration, the library participated in the village door decorating contest.  Judging took place on Saturday, December 11th and the Library won Most Elegant Door!

Warm wishes from the Amherst Town Library Staff

The library will be CLOSED Friday, Dec. 24 through Monday, Dec. 27 for the Christmas holiday. Regular hours resume Tuesday, Dec. 28.

The library will be CLOSED Friday, Dec. 31 - Saturday, Jan. 1
for the New Year's holiday. Regular hours resume Sunday, Jan. 2.

Todd BrunelPlease join us for the first concert in our Sundays at 4 music series, now entering it's 6th year.  Innovative and critically acclaimed clarinetist and saxophonist Todd Brunel and pianist Joe Reid will perform together in a concert crossover of classical and jazz music.  

The program will feature works of Benny Goodman, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern and Lionel Hampton, and will also include classical works by Copland, Mozart and Stravinsky. The Library is appreciative for the support and funding provided by the Friends of the Amherst Town Library for our 2011 Music Series. Reserve your seat today!
