Greetings!
2010
Whatever your reasons for loving the library- personal enjoyment, intellectual stimulation, children's books and activities, research materials for school, home or work, or access to computers and the Internet- we invite you to join us in celebrating those reasons during national Love Your Library month in February.
Friends of the Amherst Town Library: Their Love Speaks Volumes!

One group that has stacks and stacks of love for the library is the The Friends of the Amherst Town Library. Did you know that they were awarded the "Sue Palmatier Award for Outstanding support by a FOL Group" by the NH Library Trustee Association in 2009?

One of the Friends' most recent initiatives is "The Friday Afternoon Book Club" which meets at the library on the second Friday afternoon of every month. Interested individuals are invited to call Beth Blodgett, member of the Friends, for more information (673-2506).

Learn more about the Friends of the Library by viewing their special exhibit in the library display case during the month of February or by visiting their webpage anytime.
