2012 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference
Next week, more than 1,000 teenagers from across the state will converge on the Iowa State University campus for the 2012 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference, titled, Brighten Your World.  The conference will take place June 26-28. Attendees will experience three full days of speakers, mixers, dances, a banquet, and community service activities.2012 Iowa 4-H Youth Conference Photo

Each day, youth will hear from a different keynote speaker. The speakers address youth about leadership and making good decisions for the future. Participants will attend a variety of daily workshops designed to spark their interests. Workshops include glassblowing, Zumba dancing, farming and design.   Participants will also give back to Ames and the surrounding communities through various service projects.

Thank you to those sponsors who make this event possible. Farm Credit Services of America, Gelita, Zoske's Sales & Service, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Hy-Vee, Fareway, and the Iowa State University College of Ag & Life Sciences, Engineering, Human Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.
