Cape May Marlin and Tuna Club
2012 Season Kicks Off2012

2012 Events

The year is young and so are we, and we're having some great times at the club.  New Years Day, Cinco De Mayo, Kentucky Derby, St. Patrick's Day, and the 2012 Pool Tournament have been well attended and a great time.  Don't miss our tournament events and parties.  The race for the Triple Crown on June 9 promises to be an action packed night.

2012 Fishing Season Underway

The 2012 season is underway with our first tournament in the books and a great line up of competitive fishing ahead of us. Last weekend we held the annual drum tournament and the Canyon Lady showed up to play; sweeping first, second and third place.

Memorial Day Weekend we will be back at it chasing most everything that swims.  Sign up at the Captains meeting Friday night at 7pm and if we don't have a calcutta for what you want, we'll add it.  Striper, Drum, Bluefish, we've  even added Shark and Tuna for those taking an early shot at it.  A fun event at a cheap price, with a cookout on this holiday weekend.

Making Your Club Better

We continue to brighten the joint up and so far this year we've added some new LED lighting, refreshed the club sign outside and painted the walls. We're also ditching some of the old tables and chairs upstairs and bringing in new. Also on the radar for this year we're considering some flooring updates and maybe an audio boost for those late evening music sessions. If you have suggestions or want to help in any way just drop us a line.
Membership Tips
We're seeing some great discounts from friends and members of the club.  Roff's is again offering 50% off to club members and Sea Tow gave members a great renewal rate this year.  Be sure to participate in these offerings for yourself, for the club and for our sponsors.

Our membership is solid but we want to continue to add good people to our club and keep them as members.  Refer a friend this year and help support membership.
The Cape May Marlin and Tuna Club
Your membership is important and appreciated.  Thank you to everyone that paid their 2012 dues.  Members with unpaid dues have lost their club priviliges but are still able to submit dues by mail or in person for immediate restoration.  We look forward to a great 2012.
