2010 Tournament Season Kicks Off in May
Let's get this party started with two great May inshore tournaments.  Historically we've run 3 in may but with competition heating up we're targeting quality over quantity.

First out of the gate is the Captain Ray Vandegriff Memorial Tournament.  Captains meeting is Friday May 14 and you can fish until noon on Sunday.  This tournament will be followed by a cookout catered by CJ's.

The Memorial day tournament is always a good time whether you chase Drum, Striper, or follow the Raging Bull on its annual quest for big bluefish.  Captains meeting is on Friday with fishing through Sunday.

Start The Presses!
Our creative department has joined forces with Rick Bogert to refresh our club logo.  For the sake of tradition we're keeping the same general colors, look and feel.  New Burgees and Stickers are in the works and should be available by Memorial Day.  We hope you like it!

The club needs your involvement
Our club runs almost entirely on volunteer efforts.  You don't need to be local to be on the board or a committee and we can use most every talent you have.

Open positions:
PR Support
Ever think about writing for the paper or magazines?  This role involves coverage of club events and working with our press connections to publish.

Photography:
We'd like to have photographers for our events so get ready to shoot.  Beyond that, all of you should be capturing life's moments and loading them to our full resolution photo and video site where you can have your own full resolution folder for your stuff.

Committees
Consider joining a committee this year or participating on the board. Membership, tournaments, PR, there's something for everyone.  We really want to engage the next generation of leaders for our club.

The Board
The club needs leadership.  Serving on the board you will help set the course for this great organization.  It's a great way to contribute and a learning experience.  We need your help in shaping the present and future of our historic club.
