Club Photo and Video Site Upgrades
Our club photo and video site now holds over 3,000 photo's that capture our time on the water, at the club, and some amazing places we've journeyed over the years. We've made a bunch of updates and have reorganized things a lot. We've even added a shortcut to share your shots on your Facebook profile.

Other new functionality includes tagging photo's with keywords and location information, a tag cloud, integration with google maps, search and more...
Everyone that registers will be given their own photo album in the members section. You can add your stuff there, or to any of the club sections. This should give your crew a nice place to check out your shots from the years or share them with family and friends, and the concept for the 2010 video is to arrange our annual video by each contributor so please register and load em up!
If you registered in the past you will need to register again due to the recent upgrade. We hope you like it.
We had an awesome turnout for the Mitch Roffer Presentation. Standing room only on a Tuesday night, in the middle of winter, with a snowstorm approaching. A big thanks to Mitch for presenting and to everyone that showed up and/or helped make it happen.
Roffer's has offered us a 50% discount if we have 15 or more members participating. That brings the price of a 12 pack down to $360, well worth the cost for this service. Please contact Roffer's to let them know you are interested in this plan and that your are a club member. Once we hit 15, the discount kicks in. Already a member of Roffer's, please let them know you are with the club. Please also email us to let us know you plan to be use this discount at TheClub@MarlinandTuna.com

Winter Damage If you haven't checked your boat since the recent storms you probably should. Many boats suffered major outrigger damage from ice build up. |

Stand up for our fishing rights |
We are rapidly losing our rights to fish and it's happening now. I think that if any of us thought Recreational fishing was the problem we would be happy to have it addressed. However, we spend time on the water, see the real data and the real problems. Misguided regulations are crushing recreational fishing while these same regulators have managed many stocks to devastation. Special interests, PEW, foreign fleets and certain commercial groups are writing the rules with support from the current administration and their extreme voices seem to be the only ones being heard. Meanwhile, the big problems which primarily are outside recreational fishing, continue and are even receiving support. We can't let this continue for the fish, the environment, or our freedom to continue the sport we love.
In a show of solidarity and support, a march on Washington is being coordinated by organizations across the country. If you can make it to DC, please stand up for the sport we value so much on Feb 24.

The 2009 video, featuring member photo's and video, is now live on our photo site as well as Facebook. It hasn't grossed as much as Avatar but we think you'll like it.

Consider joining a committee this year or participating on the board. Membership, tournaments, PR, there's something for everyone. We really want to engage the next generation of leaders for our club so if you have an interest consider serving on the board where you'll play an increased role in shaping the present and future of our historic club.
Our membership ranks may be the highest our club has ever seen. Your membership enables club operations and events and your participation makes this place great.
