YES!! Cape May Wins the 2009 Challenge Cup!
We started the celebration in OCMD and we're going to finish it with a victory party at the Cape May Club on October 17th, starting at 7pm.
Last year's victory party brought a great group together and we're looking forward to celebrating another win.
From the club website: Another amazing year in Ocean City. 207 marlin released to tie the count from 2008...and we thought it couldn't get any better? As always the OC club was a great host and it was clear that a good time was had by all. We ended day 1 tied...37 to 37 releases. Day two brought big seas and another great bite with many boats seeing over 20 white marlin and in the double digits for releases. In the end, Cape May pulled out the victory. The Viking 68 team earned top boat for the the competition and along with the other Cape May boats brought home the victory. |

Surprise Party For Norman |
He brings a smile to your face, remembers your favorite cocktail (or something close to it) and can find almost anything at a garage sale. Yes, our friend and bartender Norman turns 80 this year and we're going to celebrate this Saturday October 10, starting at 6pm. The surprise will actually be a bit earlier with his family but please stop by anytime after 6 to wish Norm a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

It happens every year and this year is no exception. Throw on your quirkiest costumes and stop by to party on Halloween night. It's a covered dish event so bring something tasty and kick back...the crowd at the club never looks better!
