Keene Air and Auto Show 2012
We are in full airshow planning mode here at Monadnock Aviation! The show is a collaboration between Monadnock Aviation and the New England Aeronautical Society, a 501(c)(3) organization.
We have a terrific lineup of performers and a great variety of aircraft, both civilian and military on display. If you have an aircraft or automobile that you would like to have on display, please contact me by email or telephone. We'd love to have you here!
I am trying very hard, yet without success, to secure an A-10 fly-by or static display...if any of you have a personal contact or is owed a favor by the A-10 guys, I could really use some help on this one.
Flying In?
If you are flying in for the event, be aware that runway 32-14 will be closed for the weekend and runway 02-20 will be closed at different times during the show days. Feel free to check with me in advance to make sure you can get in when you arrive.
Sponsors:
We have some very generous companies who have agreed to sponsor the show. You can see them on the "Sponsors" tab on our website. We do need additional sponsorship to make the show a success. If your company is interested in sponsoring this event, please contact me to discuss how we can best market your product or services at the show. This is a terrific family oriented, aviation event and we anticipate 10,000 people will come out to the airport that weekend. Remember, we do have 501(c)(3) status.
Vendors:
All of the show's food and beverage vendors represent non-profit organizations from our community. Those organizations keep all of the funds they earn at the show. We think it is a great way for the organizations that support our community to educate the public on their mission and earn valuable dollars to keep them operating throughout the year. If you are part of a non-profit which would like to sell refreshments at the show as a fundraiser, please register on the "Vendors" tab on or website.
If you are part of an aviation related for-profit company and would like to showcase your product at the show, give me a call. It may be possible.
Volunteers:
The list of volunteer positions seems infinite. If you would like to "work" the show, you can register using the volunteer tab on the website. Volunteers will, of course, receive free admission to the show, a Staff t-shirt, tremendous personal satisfaction, and an endless supply of appreciation. |

Happy flying to all!
