Congratulations Bernie Bryant
Bernie Bryant is a man of great resolve. Through what seemed lesson after lesson of high winds and fowl weather Bernie persisted in his training. With skill and composure, he completed his first solo flight last week. Congratulations Bernie! |

New Service at Keene
Monadnock Aviation now offers dynamic propeller balancing for your aircraft.
An out of balance prop can cause vibration throughout the entire airframe which can, over time, cause component fatigue and damage. Having a dynamically balanced prop provides for increased safety, comfort, aircraft reliability, and reduced maintenance costs.
Many pilots report they did not realize their prop was not balanced. They had become desensitized to to the vibration or assumed that is was a normal product of an operating engine. It is not until after the propeller is dynamically balanced that the difference- a smoother ride and less pilot fatigue- is notable. This AOPA article discusses the benefits of proper balancing.
The charge for this service is $250. Please contact us to schedule your balancing or obtain more information. |

Fuel Prices
Wondering when the increasing fuel prices will plateau? So are we. Similar to automobile fuel, 100 low lead prices have really spiked recently. We strive to offer fuel rates at or below those of comparable airports and we promise to always remain below average for the New England region.
What can you do to ease the pain? You can pick up a pre-paid gas card from Monadnock Aviation. While this card does not fix the price of the fuel, it will provide a two percent discount. |
We are taking a brief break from safety seminars to plan for other great events and will resume with a great seminar schedule shortly.
