Why Come to Keene?

For Recycled Percussion at  The Colonial Theatre.
December 30

America's Got Talent finalist and New Hampshire natives Recycled Percussion will be leaving Las Vegas and returning to New Hampshire to "junk rock" all over the state in December.  The Recycled Percussion band has one the most interactive shows on the Las Vegas strip. Audience members are given a drumstick and a unique instrument on the way in, which they use to play along with the band throughout the show. Don't miss this one of a kind show the whole family will love

Please contact me if you need help with ground transportation, restaurant or room reservations.

No Barbeque

A reminder that there is no barbeque this weekend.  It is just too close to Christmas-- no more hustle and bustle needed.

The fun will resume on January 15th!  We hope to see you then.

Thank you

Thank you to all who were present to speak on our behalf at the city council committee meeting earlier this week.  I was overwhelmed by the show of support.  Thank you also to the many, many people who sent letters and emails describing their thoughts and experiences here at the Keene airport.  We are grateful to you all.

On Tuesday, the City Council committee referred the fuel contract matter back down to the review panel level to reconsider their recommendation on fuel contract length.  We do not know when the panel will meet but we are hoping for a longer term contract recommendation this time.

Boston TRACON Tour

We are organizing a tour of Boston TRACON (Terminal Radar Approach Control) in Merrimack, NH.  The tentative date is Saturday, January 22nd.  Space is limited to about twelve people per group.  We have 6 spaces left for this tour and can schedule an additional tour if needed.  Please let me know if you have interest in attending.

Cool Video

I admit this is not strictly an aviation related item, but it is a cool video with great photography about helicopter high power cable inspectors
