MONDAY, DECEMBER 26, 2011 DON'T FORGET GODHave you forgotten God? Read carefully what God said to His people through Moses: "Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God...You may say to yourself, 'My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.' But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today" (Deuteronomy 8:11, 17-18). God blesses us financially, yet we often forget Him. We tend to measure success and failure all in terms of money: our accomplishments and our shortfalls as well as our profits and our losses. Consequently, we hinder the Holy Spirit's work, putting us in a position to lose everything.
However, on our dirt road toward restoration, God calls us to release our financial resources for the advancement of His kingdom.
Today, remember God and surrender your heart to Him, including your financial decisions. He will make you new, again.
