2011 4th of July Parade - The Alpen Schatzi's |
We had so much fun this year in Telluride's 4th of July parade. We had more Alpen Schatzi dogs and people than ever show up. We had THREE wagons being pulled by Bernese, and families coming from as far as California and Texas to march with us.
Not only did we have Bernese march with us, but tiny Pedro, the Chihuahua riding in one of the cards, along with Lucy, a black lab not far behind.
Our youngest participant was little Rebecca, a toddler from Austin Texas, whose Bernese "walked her" in the parade.

We also had participants dressing up in Lederhosen and Dirndl's to complete the Alpine look of our entry as well as an Alpen Horn playing periodically during our march.
Click HERE to view the slide show of the highlights of the parade. Enjoy!
