WESTMINSTER UPDATE: We at Alpen Schatz wanted to thank both the Organizers as well as all of the new and old Alpen Schatz customers who visited our booth at the Westminsterd Dog show in New York in February.
It was our first time at this exciting event full of magnificent dogs, their owners, as well as dog lovers from around the world who came to watch. Alpen Schatz, with it's unique European Swiss, Italian and German lines was a hit to both people as well as participating dogs alike.

We got to meet dogs of all sizes, shapes and personalities and even breeds that we had never heard of before.

Hits at the show were the classic SWISS collars and cowbells that we are known for as well as from the HUNTER line: the Freestyle Rope (new on-line!), the Safari, and the luxuriously soft Elk Leather collars and leashes.

| Alpen Schatz is coming to California ! | |
Every year, Alpen Schatz makes its way cross country to the Annual National Specialty show for the Bernese Breed. At this show, we have a booth where we exhibit and sell our fine Swiss pet AND people products.
This year's event takes place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in southern California. The event is open to the public - whether Bernese lover or not, and we would love to welcome our Alpen Schatz California on-line customers in person on our booth at this show.
Our booth will be set-up from Tuesday through Saturday, April 5-9, 2011. This year we will have a special guest:  | | Stevie Decker, Artist |
STEVIE DECKER, a well known pet and landscape artist, will be on the Alpen Schatz booth on Friday, April 8th to talk about her works, sign paintings and take orders for custom pet portraits. To see a sample of her works and to learn more about her, click HERE.
In addition, our very own Smokie Bear will be showing again after all of these years but this time in the Vetran's class...for Bernese who have made it to the upper years! Go Smokie Bear at almost 9 years of age!

Domino...looks fab!
We came into your shop a couple of weeks ago (traveling from WA and OR) and I got a collar for my dog. Here are some snapshots of him with it! Although I was making him sit still instead of letting him play with his ball... so he had to start talking back... I've attached that one as well. hahah.

This is 7 month old Seavridge's Sailor Jake of the Seven Seas... also known as Jake, wearing his new Hunter Swiss cross dog collar. We love it! He looks so cute sporting his Swiss pride! Since there are no other Swissies in the area we belong to a Bernese Mountain Dog group. I think they will also love this collar. I will be sure to let them know of your website!
