| Greetings!
Time. A Christmas present. From you, to you.
For some, the festive break allows time to quietly reflect on the last twelve months, and think about the next year. An opportunity to review your business, and ask whether your business is functioning as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Why? With revenue harder to grow, and customers demanding fast, cost-effective, quality service, process is increasingly important to the bottom line. Our first article might trigger some thought - and action? - about why and how you can improve the way you work.
And...you know that changing process works better with people's commitment. So our second article considers why we should get their involvement in making changes. You don't have to, but...
Lastly, as we reflect on our communications with you, we'd like your help. Which subjects interest you most? And, what kinds of article help you most? Take our short four question survey will help us focus on the stuff you really care about.

 Process. Perfect pain?
It's another Monday (or any) morning, and you've got plenty to do. Running a business takes time.
First, today's problems. Ever wondered why you spend so much of your time sorting out problems within your business? Especially when problems often caused by inadequate processes, and inaccurate reports or information.
The funny thing about processes (to us, anyway) is that they are very often the last thing to get your attention; yet the first reason you don't deliver as you should.
It's why we've written about it here.
And why we've listed ten reasons to think about whether you should review how you do what you do. Before the crisis which might make you change the way you do things. |
Change. And reaction...
Most of us like to think we're in control of some part of our destiny. That holds true for some of us more than others. And fear of losing that control can provoke strong emotions.
Which is why not involving people when thinking changing the way they work is a big risk. We talk about it here, and ask you to think about two things next time you are considering change in your organisation: - What do you really know about the job your people do. And, how confident are you that they will share their knowledge. Especially in today's climate, where people are fearful for their jobs
- When did you last react well to being told of new ways of doing things, but not asked for your opinion about those changes
Change. It's a bigger deal than most people allow for. |
Survey...
This is the participative bit.
Quick survey - four questions and no follow-up sales talk!

And, thank you. We appreciate your help. |
