2012 DRAMA PRODUCTION
Crestwood's Drama Department is excited to announce that "The Little Mermaid" will be this summer's big production. Director Arielle Cooperman and Asst. Director Emily Edwards will be returning to direct this fun production at our brand new amphitheater. Children entering 2nd - 6th grade who have an interest in drama are welcome to join in this special production. There is a part for everyone, either in the cast or as part of the scenery/stage crew. Since the play will be presented during the last week of summer, all cast members must be enrolled through the end of the summer. Auditions for lead roles will take place during the first week of our summer program. All children who want to be in the show will get a part.
Our Drama Directors will be available to meet you and your child plus answer any questions about the program at Family Fun & Clothing Day on Saturday, June 23rd.

YOUTH FITNESS  PROGRAM
Crestwood's Fitness Center, which features the Hoist Fitness KL Series, is one of the only facilities on Long Island to offer this 9 piece gym circuit that's made exclusively for kids entering 2nd grade and up. All children entering 2nd - 4th grade are scheduled for our fitness program to get them familiar with the equipment while encouraging them to make fitness a part of their life. Children are also taught about good nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Additionally, those children entering 2nd - 6th grade have the option of choosing our "Youth Fitness Program" as a club activity. Under the guidance of our certified Fitness Director Donna Kleiman, each child who opts for the "Youth Fitness Program" will receive personalized workouts to fit their needs. There is no additional fee for this pull-out program. If you would like more information, please call the office and leave a message for your Division Head. |

PRIVATE LESSONS & SWIM TEAM INFORMATION
Our campers receive excellent instruction in swimmming, athletics, and the arts. Many of you have been so impressed with Crestwood's first class quality of instruction that you have often asked, "How can we get more?" You can with private lessons subcontracted by you with our specialists and scheduled before the start of the day. Our private swim and tennis lessons are the most popular choices but other lessons are available as well. Please call Crestwood to discuss scheduling and to reserve a spot for your child. (Sorry, not available for campers in the Mini Day & 10:15-4 Junior Day programs.)
ADDITIONAL SWIM OPPORTUNITY! For those campers entering grades 2-6 who are advanced swimmers (Crestwood swim level intermediate 1 and above), we offer a fun opportunity to join our swim team. Crestwood's swim team, led by our swim coaches, practices during the regular camp day and has intra/intercamp meets throughout the summer.
