Dear Crestwood Families,

We had another great day at Crestwood today.  Children enjoyed extra swims in our 7 pools, extra water activities and groups adjusted their schedule to stay cool. 

For Friday, we have decided to cancel our usual morning instructional swim. This will allow most campers to enjoy 4 periods of swim tomorrow.  They will have two double periods of swim in the morning and two double periods of swim in the afternoon.  Junior Day and Mini Day Children will all have one additional regular period of swim added to their day. 

Our Special Event for 1st-6th grade campers will be our Staff Talent Show which will be taking place in our air conditioned gymnasium.  Our younger campers will enjoy a special event of water games and water relays. 

In regards to the rest of the day, have confidence in our mature staff of Administrators, Group Leaders and Counselors to keep your children as cool as possible during the day.  We have impressed upon our entire staff that safety is always the #1 Priority. They will all take frequent water and juice breaks, change the group schedule to play games inside of our air conditioned facilities, take it easy under a shady tree, and utilize the kid wash, water games and sprinklers that have been positioned around the camp.
