INSP
Conference 2010
INSP is pleased to announce that the 2010
conference will take place in Melbourne,
co-hosted by The Big Issue Australia.
Congratulations to the team for a great proposal and for all their hard work
and fundraising connections made so far. Work has already begun in the INSP
office to raise funds for travel, as we are very aware that more papers than
usual will need support. We will also be in touch with members shortly with
local fundraising ideas, including gathering air miles donations.

Zambia training
INSP recently facilitated development training for
The Big Issue Zambia, with support from the Scottish Government International Division.
INSP board member Trudy Vlok (The Big Issue South Africa) was in Lusaka for 1 week,
earlier this month. Samba Yonga, Editor of The Big Issue Zambia said of the training: "Getting
together as a team and charting the way forward for the Big Issue Zambia with
Trudy was a brilliant plan. We managed to map out strategic achievable goals
that will see the organisation grow in the next 12 months. Trudy's insight and
experience with the regional economic and social landscape helped interpret and
clearly articulate the specific needs for BIZ and how they can be addressed. These
were some of the best five days we have had since we started. Thank you, INSP".
