Dr. Seva Simran Siri Singh opens new office in Los Alamos
Offering gentle and pain-free acupuncture!
Studies have shown that you don't have to penetrate the skin to get as good, or even better, effects with acupuncture. Dr. Khalsa uses needle press tacks, such as Seirin Pyonex, instead of needles. This porous tape has microscopic projections equipped with a diode that allows current to go one way. Press Tacks can be left on for a few days, extending the treatment time.

Restaurant Review | |
Sushi Land East
60 E. San Francisco St. Suite. 102(Main entrance on Water Street)
505-820-1178
I had the good fortune of discovering this downtown Santa Fe sushi restaurant just last month, have been there twice and have been pleasantly surprised each time. This restaurant is located in the space previously occupied by Cold Stone Creamery at 132 E. Water St. Both times I was there, I had their vegetarian bento box which was excellent. It was comprised of your typical cucumber roll, a delicious seaweed salad, rice, tempura vegetables, edamame and some dumplings.
Other dishes on their menu included; rice bowl with vegetables, udon or soba noodle soup with vegetables, and a Japanese curry with rice orudon. It's a small place, but nicely decorated and very cozy. The chef went out of his way to make us a bento box when we arrived one evening, even though it was advertised asjust for lunch on the menu.

Dyal Singh Khalsa
4/25/54 - 5/3/12
Cremation services for Dyal
Singh, beloved son of the Guru, and valued friend and brother of many Espanola Ashram members, will be held Sunday, May 6th at 6:00am in Crestone, Colorado. A Memorial Gurdwara in his honor will be held on Monday evening, May 7, at 6:00 pm in the Gurdwara in Espanola.
Below is an excerpt from a hukam that was taken shortly after his passing:
"AASAA, FOURTH MEHL: One who chants the Naam, the Name of the Lord, Har, Har in his mind, the Lord is pleasing to his mind. In the mind of the devotees there is a great yearning for the Lord. Those humble beings who remain dead while yet alive, drink in the Ambrosial Nectar; through the Guru's Teachings, their minds embrace love for the Lord. Their minds love the Lord, Har, Har, and the Guru is Merciful to them. They are Jivan Mukta liberated while yet alive, and they are at peace. Their birth and death, through the Name of the Lord, are illustrious, and in their hearts and minds, the Lord, Har, Har, abides. The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, abides in their minds, and through the Guru's Teachings, they savor the Lord, Har, Har; they drink in the sublime essence of the Lord with abandon. One who chants the Naam, the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, in his mind, the Lord is pleasing to his mind. In the mind of the devotees there is such a great yearning for the Lord. || 1 ||" |

SuperHealth's First Specialty Professional Training
by Mukta Kaur

The SuperHealth Professional Training pilot program was held in Espanola, New Mexico, from March 16-24, and was truly a labor of love. In development for almost 5 years, the time finally came to open the doors for its delivery.
The SuperHealth Professional Training pilot program was held in Espanola, New Mexico, from March 16-24, and was truly a labor of love. In development for almost 5 years, the time finally came to open the doors for its delivery. The eight days were filled with a deep experience of Kundalini yoga, and the therapeutic regimen of the SuperHealth detoxification and rehabilitation diets, special juice formulas, herbs and vitamins. People described the experience as a cross between a holiday resort and a deeply profound personal transformation experience.
People came from all over the world including: Hungary, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, the Faroe Islands, and the US from Maine to Hawaii. It was magical! The Hand of God took over and something very beautiful happened. Yogi Bhajan often said, "Try your best and leave the rest to God." More about SuperHealth here > |

Food for Health - Sugar is a Poison
by Kirpal Singh Khalsa, Ph.D.
The Siri Singh Sahib once recommended I start a diet of blended yogurt drinks. He specifically instructed that I incubate the yogurt an extra 24 hours. He called it sour yogurt. I was to blend it with various fruits, including figs and prunes. I asked if I could add some honey to the concoction. He looked at me and said, "Sugar is a poison to your body."

How to Communicate Privately With Email by Guruka Singh
A lot of people have expressed concern to me about others being able to read their private email. All too often, we send and receive sensitive information by unsecured e-mail, leaving us open to data and identity theft.
Fortunately, there are relatively easy and inexpensive solutions for transferring personal data over the Web to friends, relatives, and business associates. A little inattention to security can be costly.

Yogi Bhajan, Spherical Miracle
by Hari Jiwan Singh
There were literally tens of thousands of people who came through our organization. Why did the Siri Singh Sahib pick me to spend so much time with? What did I have or what did I do to make me his choice? Many of you have written in and asked me this question recently. Or course, it meant that the correct answer would only make sense when I understood how the Master thought. Naturally, it's taken a long time to see it in perspective.

"In the USA, we have often found that there is no family. (The Espanola Ashram) is the Mother House of this entire 3HO family. ..., this is the root of everything that we have,..., this is our den, here we come for shelter, here we come for help. ...,you will be surprised what people think of you. People think of you as a Mother. People relate to this place as a very Divine center." from a Lecture to the Espanola Sangat by Yogi Bhajan, 1975
