Siblings of Destiny Meetings
September 21-24, 2011
Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
Sat Nam and blessings to all. We will be holding our bi-annual Siblings of Destiny Meeting on September 21 - 24, 2011 in Espanola, New Mexico. As most of you know, the Siblings of Destiny Meetings began two years ago when the Khalsa Council meetings, which had been held for over two decades, were cancelled. Through the commitment and devotion of the Sangat, as Siblings of Destiny, we have continued to meet and to unite in consciousness to serve the Siri Singh Sahib's legacy and the future of our Dharma.
All members of the worldwide Sangat are invited to participate in these meetings, as we move forward to shape the future of our Dharma together. By working together consciously and compassionately, with integrity and values, we can move forward in unity to deliver our collective destiny. This is a very transformative time, and each person's participation is welcome and vital to the process.

We had a Masala Dosa, green salad and fresh mint lemonade. The dosa was a thin crispy rice lentil pancake filled with a delicious potato pea curry which was

fabulous. The green salad had fresh mung bean sprouts and a flavorful dressing. The lemonade was not too sweet and very refreshing with a nice mint accent.

The brightly painted cafe truck is located on the righthand side of the 3HO office parking lot. Check out his cafe which features daily specials and sometimes an occassional musical performance by the chef himself. Call for specials or place orders: 505-927-6715. See menu

Yogi Bhajan, A Hearty Party
By Hari Jiwan Singh
Well, the Siri Singh Sahib's birthday party Saturday evening was another grand success. All the goals were accomplished including having fun by all. As I entered the ranch and smelled the delicious food, my thoughts traveled back to the beginning party about thirty years ago. Why did he design this party? Was it in his honor?
Who else could celebrate their own birthday in such a regal style except the Siri Singh Sahib? Man, I really appreciated his confidence. What could make him so bold? He created a grand party for himself. Naturally, if you're a sincere student, you ask yourself this question, why?
I was fortunate enough to drive and escort the Master to many of his own birthday parties. I vividly recall one birthday in August of 1997. We arrived at the birthday site in the late afternoon while it was still light. This way he could see, greet and interact with all his guests. It's hot, every year it's hot! But, that's part of the charm. As we entered the party grounds, the Master stood erect. He was dressed in a beautiful long white robe with a multi colored New Mexican Thunderbird pattern accenting the chest. He wore an exquisite south sea pearl mala was on his right wrist and a gold pendant in an Adi Shakti pattern lavishly studded with rubies, diamonds, and pearls which hung around his neck by a gold and diamond chain. His watch was of such high caliber that only a watch connoisseur would understand its workmanship and he wore enormous gold, diamond and ruby rings which mark his beautiful hands. My impression was: If you've never seen a real king, well here he is. And, I was not alone in my assessment.

|
If God has guided you here and has given you the virtue to do service here, and has given you that chance, then don't waste it. It's a place to gain and to be what is yours to be. Therefore, I say to you that take the very earth of this place and put it on your forehead. It will rewrite your destiny."
