June Meeting Reminder

Please mark your calendars for our next meeting:

June 3, 2009
2 PM - 4PM

Community Memorial Hospital - Community Outreach Office
400 Woodland Prime
N74 W12501 Leatherwood Court
Menomonee Falls, WI 53051

Tentative Agenda:

  • Stillwaters Support Services Overview
  • Networks Defined
  • Wisconsin Cancer Council Overview
  • Wisconsin's Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan Overview
    • MRCCN's current and future role
    • MRCCN's measures of contribution
  • Discussion: MRCCN Priority Areas

Directions: (really not as difficult as it sounds!)
The easiest way to arrive would be to take 45 to Good Hope Rd. and go West on Good Hope Road after you exit. Woodland Prime will be on your right at the top of the hill and is a grouping of 3 story business buildings. Take Flint Dr. and the 400 building is the 2nd building on your right as you come into the Woodland Prime complex. Take Leatherwood Court and park behind the building and come in through the main entrance. The receptionist at the main desk (usually Ruth) will assist you to our meeting room which is Robin 132.

(Note: If you get to Appleton Ave. you have gone too far, that is the next lighted intersection by the Trysting Place.) I had trouble getting this on Mapquest so the easiest way may be to reference from the intersection of Good Hope Rd. and Appleton Ave. and then look for Flint Dr.

Also: These buildings are 5 miles from Community Memorial Hospital...do not go to the hospital!

Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan 2010-2015 Needs Your Input

WCCCP Logo The Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (WI CCC) is beginning the process of developing the next strategic plan for 2010-2015. As a member of our mailing list, we are hoping you will help us by providing your confidential feedback on an internet survey. The survey should take between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on how much feedback you wish to provide. You may have already completed the survey. If you have not completed the survey, we'd appreciate your input. Please contact Sarah for access to the survey at:

Sarah Kerch, Program Assistant for the WI Comprehensive Cancer Control at sckerch@uwcarbone.wisc.edu

PLEASE CONSIDER RESPONDING EVEN IF YOU ARE UNFAMILIAR WITH OR DID NOT USE THE 2005-2010 WI CCC PLAN!! If you haven't used the Plan, you will be able to skip those questions but we'd appreciate your answers to three questions on what would be useful in the upcoming 2010-2015 Plan.

Thanks for your help!
Nancy Freeman, Executive Director, WI Cancer Council
Sarah Kerch, WI CCC Program Assistant
