Low-cost pet vaccination clinic Aug. 11
|
The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center on Wednesday, Aug. 11 will host a low-cost vaccination and microchip clinic for Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo and Laguna Niguel pet owners.
The clinic, hosted with the Southern California Veterinary Vaccine Clinic, will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 28095 Hillcrest.
Dog vaccines include Rabies $6; DHPP $15; and Bordetella $12. Cat vaccines include Rabies $6; Purevax Rabies $20; and FVRCP $15.
Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo and Laguna Niguel pet owners can also have their animals licensed at the clinic. A license is required for all dogs starting at the age of 4 months.
Microchipping is available for $20.
The vaccine clinic will accept cash only and microchips can be paid for by cash, check or Visa/MasterCard.

Contest benefits non-profit organization that serves the needy

Residents can enter a contest to win up to $4,000 in gift cards to shop at Fashion Island, Irvine Spectrum and the Market Place through a fund-raising effort by Famiies Forward.
Founded in 1984, Families Forward is a non-profit organization that provides supported housing programs for families in crisis. The organization, which works with Aliso Viejo's Family Resource Center at Iglesia Park, helps provide food outreach for Aliso Viejo residents.
Only 1,000 tickets will be sold for the contest that features two chances to win. First prize is a $2,500 preferred gift card. The second prize winner will enjoy a $1,500 preferred gift card. Opportunity tickets are one for $25 or five for $100.
