Pet & Vet Clinic Saturday

The Aliso Viejo Family Resource Center and Mission Viejo Animal Services Center will host a low-cost vaccination and microchip clinic on Saturday, Aug. 7. The clinic will take place from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Family Resource Center at 24671 Via Iglesia. The center is conveniently located near Moulton and Calle Cortez. Dog vaccines include the four-in-one vaccine (DA2PP) and the Bordetella vaccine for dogs 8 weeks and older. Cat vaccines include the four-in-one vaccine (FVRCP) for cats 8 weeks and older. Dog and cat rabies vaccines are $6 each. DA2PP and FVRCP vaccines are $14 each. Bordetella vaccine is $11 each. The FELV vaccine at $17 and the Lyme vaccine at $22 will also be available. Pet owners can also have their animals licensed at the clinic. A license is required for all dogs starting at the age of 4 months. Microchipping is available for $28. The cost includes registration and lifetime monitoring. The vaccine clinic will accept cash only. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers.
