Animal Services Center to host bunny adoption event July 10
|
The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center will host "Rabbit Day" on Saturday, July 10 in an effort to find loving homes for the influx of pet bunnies the facility has received. Rabbit Day is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center located at 28095 Hillcrest. The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center services Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel. The adoption fee, which is normally $45, will be $25 on Rabbit Day. The embedded micro-chip is $20, so the total cost for a family bunny is $45. Community members are invited to see and learn more about the furry little friends and consider adopting a bunny or two into their family. A resident "rabbit expert" will field any questions residents may have and the Animal Services Center will provide educational material about caring for bunnies. For more information, call 949-470-3045.
