Public invited to Sunday's Survivor Celebration at Renaissance ClubSport

The Aliso Viejo-based Relay For Life is inviting cancer survivors and caretakers to attend a Survivor Celebration on Sunday, June 6 at the Renaissance ClubSport.

The event is from 2 to 4 p.m. and includes an afternoon of live music, fun and giveaways. The celebration will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming Relay For Life July 17-18 at Grand Park in Aliso Viejo Town Center.

Relay for Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs. During the event, teams take turns walking or running laps. At nightfall, participants light hundreds of luminaries in a moving ceremony to honor cancer survivors and remember those who lost their battle to the disease. Relay For Life offers something for everyone - from the newly diagnosed and caregivers to friends and long-term cancer survivors.
