City of Aliso Viejo
Changes to bus routes in Aliso Viejo come March 14

Due to the loss of state funding and declining sales tax revenue, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) is forced to reduce bus service throughout the county starting March 14. According to OCTA, the changes were made after much public input and with a goal of preserving as much bus service as possible given the available reduced funds.

In Aliso Viejo, bus riders should be aware of a frequency reduction on route 89 and route restructuring on routes 70 and 90. No routes in the City will be eliminated.

OCTA has developed tools to help bus riders navigate the changes in service throughout the county. To see the cities affected, visit http://http://www.octa.net/CITY_mar10.aspx.

Route-specific details including frequency reductions is available at http://www.octa.net/march2010impacts.aspx.
