Worst of storm approaching

The National Weather Service is predicting the heaviest rain will fall between 1 and 3 p.m. today. Residents are advised to take precautions. Flash flood warnings have been issued for Aliso Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Niguel and Lake Forest.
The City of Aliso Viejo, which incorporated July 1, 2001,
encompasses approximately 7 square miles with nearly 48,000 residents.
