The public is invited to spend an evening with Mayor Phil Tsunoda at the Renaissance ClubSport on Feb. 11.

The Aliso Viejo Task Force, a group of business and community leaders, is hosting the event that will feature hors d'oeuvres and libations within elegant yet hip surroundings.

Community members will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with Tsunoda, members of the City Council, and other City, community and business leaders while learning about the Mayor's objectives for 2010 and touring the City's first hotel.

The pristine hotel at 50 Enterprise will also offer VIP tours of its spectacular health club.

Admission is $20 at the door.

The public on Sunday, Jan. 10 is invited to an open house that will showcase the Aliso Viejo Conference Center as the pristine venue for unforgettable and enchanting wedding celebrations.

The beautiful event venue at 31 Santa Barbara (formerly 25002 Golf Drive) will host the Bridal Open House between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Visitors will enjoy free hors d'oeuvres and champagne along with stunning views of the golf course, neighboring country club and Saddleback Mountains.

Brides, grooms, family members, friends and individuals interested in learning about the new facility will savor a taste of "wedding" sweets and chat with event coordinators who can facilitate any special occasion - from small intimate affairs to grandiose galas. Florists will show off the latest table designs.
