City of Aliso Viejo
Street-enhancing project begins May 26, motorists may experience some minor traffic delays

Work is expected to begin May 26 on a project to build an asphalt overlay on Aliso Creek Road from Eastwing. The project is designed to improve the roadway.

Construction crews will grind edges of pavement and place new asphalt across the entire stretch of roadway to remove cracks and extend the life of Aliso Creek Road.

The work, which will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., will require reducing Aliso Creek Road to one lane and periodically closing the intersections of Glenwood, Columbia/Argonaut and Aliso Viejo Parkway.

Traffic control and detours will be in place but motorists can expect some delays.

When the work is completed in late June, motorists will experience a much smoother ride for years to come.
