Meeting Thursday regarding possible bus service reduction program

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) on Thursday, May 14 will host a community meeting about potential bus service reductions that would go into effect between September 2009 and June 2010.
According to OCTA, the recently approved state budget resulted in devastating impacts for Orange County bus riders. The public is invited to attend Thursday's meeting and provide input. The meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Heritage Room at the Laguna Hills Community Center, 25555 Alicia Parkway.

Golf enthusiasts are invited to take advantage of monthly resident tournaments that provide an enjoyable day on the course with neighbors and friends. Residents enjoy a preferred green fee of $50 plus a cart. The next tournament is May 18.
To secure a tee time at the club, call 949-598-9200 up to 6 days in advance and identify yourself as a resident of Aliso Viejo. Proof of residence is required and other restrictions apply.
