Volunteers spruce up City's Family Resource Center

More than 40 volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and friends on Saturday painted the Aliso Viejo Family Resource Center, saving the City more than $9,000 in related costs.

Painting the exterior of the center at Iglesia Park was the final step in the building's renovation project. Children and parents also cleaned up the playground at the Family Resource Center, which offers an array of beneficial year-round events for children, families and organizations.

The City, which supports and encourages community-wide volunteerism throughout the year, is grateful for the group's volunteer efforts.
