Enchanted Gardens Tour Sunday will benefit local animals

Tickets are still available for Sunday's "Enchanted Gardens" tour, an Earth Day weekend event to benefit the animals at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center. The center services Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo and Laguna Niguel.
The self-guided April 26 tour, which takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will take participants on a journey to five pristine gardens throughout Mission Viejo that serve as living museums, outdoor classrooms and tranquil settings.
The tour includes a special butterfly garden featuring drought-tolerant plants that attract butterflies in all development stages. The environmentally friendly garden boasts attractive birdbaths, a gazebo and accessible paths.
Tickets are $20 and are available at the Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest.
