Greetings!
Our solo artists this month work in watercolor, acrylic and photography, and each demonstrates mastery of their medium. Christine Leong, Brent Hanson and Robert Diehl will captivate your senses and give you something to think about. And our workshop series (open to the public) continues, focusing on framing and digital photography, with more to come over the summer.

"Palette of Nature"

This exhibition shows Christine Leong's recent works on wild life, seascapes, landscapes and floral. Christine transforms her love of nature on rice paper and silk. She depicts her love of wild life in a traditional Chinese style that transcends both Asian and Western techniques. Borrowing from centuries of painting masters, Christine recreates the flowing and mystic rhythm of simple and moving Chinese watercolors. (More)

In both the bold colors of his acrylic paintings and his immersion in the creative process, saturation is the key to Brent Hanson's art, so that's what he's calling his solo show.
"The works in this show range from surrealism to expressionist to nonrepresentational abstraction. One commonality about my work is the intensity of color - 'Saturation,' if you will," he says. (More)
