Plein Aire PaintersThe E.P. Foster family residence has been boarded up on N. Ventura Avenue for many years. It is time to pay attention to the need to restore the house. We have painted and photographed the house, and now we will display our work in an exhibition to be held on September 5, 2009.

The exhibit takes place on Foster Day, September 5th. The Fosters generously gifted numerous parks and buildings to the people of Ventura County. The Fosters gave Ventura its first City Hall and Library building, now named E. P. Foster Library. On the library steps, September 5, 1921, it was announced that September 5th be dedicated to Ventura County's premiere philanthropists, E. P. Foster and his wife, Orpha Woods Foster.
