Wana Klasen's "Earthsong" at the Harbor Village Gallery in March
 
Wana Klasen Earthsong
A visual delight of dancers, singers and musicians are celebrating in Wana Klasen's "EARTHSONG" solo show at the Harbor Village Gallery in the beautiful Ventura Harbor Village. This show runs from March 25 to April 27, 2009.  Artist Reception is Friday, March 27, 2009 from 5 - 8pm. 
Drums beating, hearts pounding, dancers weaving in and out of paint and canvas are Klasen's world tribe "Earthsong."  Her colorful, energetic and imaginative figures suggest our ongoing dance...a dance with ever-changing steps and tempo. (more)
 
55 year celebration
Emily Thompson's "The Sun Sets in the West" a collection of paintings and photographs.
Thompson's first solo exhibit with the Buenaventura Art Association.  March 15 - April 3, 2009.  Reception March 20 from 5 - 7. (more) 
The Discovery Gallery is located inside the Ventura Visitor's and Convention Bureau at 101 S. California St. in downtown Ventura.

The beautifully rendered pastels of Judith Crowe are on exhibit at The Buenaventura Gallery through March 28, 2009.
Crowe will be giving a painting demonstration on Saturday, March 28 from 11 - 2 pm.  All are welcome and the event is free.

Paint Out at EP Foster's House
 
Join Plein Air Artists on Saturday, March 21 from 10 am to 6 pm for a paint-out at EP Foster's House at 2717 N. Ventura Ave. in Ventura between Seneca and Dakota.
Bring your lunch, sunscreen, chairs, paint, etc.
Please note: No facilities at this location.
