"Mural in a Day" at Ventura Harbor Village
Greetings!

This is a perfect project for those artists who have wanted to do a mural but lack the experience to compete in large public arts projects: a true resume builder!
What do you get?  Possible fame...and an Exhibiting Contributor memberships at Buenaventura Art Association for the 2009/2010 membership years.  No volunteer hours and no jurying fees! 
In addition, experienced muralist Susan Krieg has offered to assist chosen artist with her advice, thoughts and experience.
The chosen artist will lead a team of experienced painters to complete their "vision" in a day!

Eligibility

Date of Mural-in-a-Day
 
 Saturday, April 18 at Ventura Harbor Village
  • Experienced painter.
  • Must be available week of April 13 for mock-up, prep and transferring/drawing of cartoon for mural.
  • Must be available Saturday, April 18 for official painting of mural.
  • Do not have to be a Ventura County resident, however artist must be able to travel as needed to site.

Deadline
