| KICK OFF THE NEW YEAR WITH CUSTOM STYLE AND SAVINGS |
|
With the start of a new year, it is timely to reflect and refresh our lives. Our family recently joined the YMCA and we have re-committed ourselves to getting fit this year. Of course, getting in shape is a common New Year's resolution. The fitness instructors at the Y have told me that January and February are their busiest months. In this month's newsletter we give some tips on building your shirt wardrobe and thoughts about how changing your diet and fitness routine will impact your wardrobe. If one of your resolutions for 2011 is to get your wardrobe "in shape", then you might want to take advantage of one of our wardrobe builder promotions we are offering this month. My shops have provided us with some end of season promotions on a special group of fabrics, so we have some incredible values through the end of the month on our custom clothing. Our shirtmakers are offering a special promotion on our custom shirts through the end of January, buy 5 custom shirts and get the 6th shirt (the same price or less) absolutely free. So kick-off your New Year with special savings on your custom wardrobe. Please call 502.417.0324 or email KennyG@ExecutiveImage.com today to schedule your personal wardrobe appointment. |

PENCIL STRIPES OFFER VARIETY
|
|
Chalk lines, pinstripes, windowpanes...there are a number of options in suit fabric patterns. When it comes to dress shirts, the options are even more varied. While white shirts give the ultimate ability to coordinate with ties and suits, colored shirts let you brighten your look. In between the two exists an array of pencil-striped shirts-offering interest and color while maintaining the clean, tasteful look required in business clothing. Pencil-thin stripes can give a shirt weight and variety without being visually distracting.
The pencil stripe isn't a seasonal phenomenon like summer linens or winter wools. They're suitable for year-around wear, and go beautifully with crisp jeans and a blazer, or your suit.
Whether you opt for a single stripe color, such as the traditional blue stripe on white, or prefer a more modern repeating pattern of two or more colors, the options available add color and life to your wardrobe. |
Q & A - ASK KEN

Question:
I recently started the P90X workout. How will it change the fit of my clothing?
As a custom clothier, I am frequently told by clients and prospects they have committed to a new training or weight loss program. Regardless of how it will impact your wardrobe, you should take pride in the fact that you are taking action to improve your health and appearance. P90X is currently a very popular training program. A workout program like P90X will expand your chest and biceps and reduce your waist. As you continue your workout routine your jackets will get tight in the chest and armhole. It is important to have your clothing adjusted to your new dimensions. I often help clients work through this process. You should be aware there is a limit to how much your clothing can be altered and still maintain the integrity of your garment. For weight loss or gain about 20 lbs is the most your weight can vary and successfully alter your garment. The good news is that your custom clothing pattern will be adjusted, so your new garments will even more so enhance your improved physique. |
